The Pure Design guys were always the ones that stayed out late with us at ICFF, hitting the bars and unselfishly introducing each other to clients. We always knew there was a good idea waiting to happen if we could figure out how to work together. We got that chance starting in March 2005 when they decided to get out of production and back to design. But - we really miss seeing them at the shows.

Geoffrey Lilge, Randy McCoy, and Daniel Hlus came together because of a shared love and respect for design. Forming their company, Pure Design, in 1994 they produced their first product - metal CD racks - by hand. Their goal was a diverse and unique collection that challenged traditional furniture categories and created new ones. Their philosophy lies within the individuality of their designs, and collectively their style emerged. Within three years of the company's formation the partners were overseeing 30 employees and a product line of 75 different 2001 Alumni Horizon Awards accessories. In May of 2001, Pure Design was awarded the prestigious Editors Award for Furniture at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair in New York City.
