Showroom History: On Thursday, July 26, 2007, Pure Design celebrated the Grand Re-Opening of our "Brick and Mortar" store. With help from the (Corning, NY) Market Street Restoration Association in obtaining a New York Main Street grant, Pure Design now enjoys a space with a refinished historic pressed tin ceiling, modern hardwood flooring and lighting, and a completely reconstructed first floor façade.




Although PureDesignOnline.com has been around for many years, the first brick and mortar location in Corning only opened on September 1st in 2006. Why Corning? Because this little western New York town has once again been voted by American Style magazine as being one of the top 3 art destinations for cities with under 100,000 people. Pretty surprising when you see places like Annapolis, MD and Boulder, CO below it. Of course, we also live here.
